Bibin, pissed off as usual (chou mu-ka-tsu-ku) with Fine and Rein getting in her way happens to run across what's left of our old friend Edward. Bibin offers to team up with him to go get Fine and Rein and he accepts, and after Bibin casts some "flat" magic.... Edward's back, but not quite as he would've liked -- as a cute little pig with a crown, though his voice hasn't changed (guess it's that rule that mahou shoujo have to have cute mascots). He's now Ed-chin (-chin being extremely cute) to Bibin. Not quite the image of a dark prince (^^;;)

Back at the school, a movie director famous for making uplifting films, Rush, has come to the school to make his next one. He seems to be modeled on the director of Futago Hime, Jun'ichi Satou ;) Anyways, Fine's a big fan of his, but she's not going to have the lead role -- Pyupyu's going to play the lead as a fairy delivering happiness, and Fine her helper. Oh well...

While Bibin eats a parfait (guess that's her favorite food), she explains how the unhappy fruits work to Edward. But before that, he'd like to be back to his normal form. Nope, he's cute as is -- she makes him dance around with her magic. Who does he think helped him? And it's Bibin-sama. After they get some Unhappy Fruits she'll turn him into whatever he wants, but until then he works for her. Poor Ed-chin...

Filming for Rush's movie is underway and everybody's come to watch (even Miruro!), though Fine's having some trouble with those bouncy shoes. Would be rather hard to run with those... Elizabert's there in an angel costume, wanting to be the lead... even got a wire up to fly on (^^;;) Anyways, Pyupyu (as a fairy) and Fine (as the fairy's helper) deliver a birthday present to an old lady (Camelot) that came from her grandchild, played by Miruro (yay). Bibin and Ed-chin look on from above -- she's found her next target. She plants an Unhappy Seed in Rush's megaphone...

When Fine and Rein return to the film set the next day Rush has definitely changed due to the effects of the Unhappy Seed. Ed-chin comes back to report to Bibin (eating a parfait, again), surprised that the seed could do that much. But Bibin's not happy (of course) -- he's supposed to make everybody more unhappy so that the Unhappy Seed grows so they can get a nice big Unhappy Fruit out of it. And she eats Ed-chin's parfait... poor Ed-chin...

Ed-chin tries his best to mess up the movie, but, as usual, he fails. The mood around is already plenty unhappy, though, with Rush seeming to change the movie from a happy one to a very unhappy one... Miruro and Leonne don't come to watch the next day because of that. Even the film crew is unhappy. To cheer them up, Fine and Rein do... well, what else, a cheer. Apparently they can use the Happy Belun (or whatever they are) to change costumes (so that's the reason for the cosplay in the ED). Cheergirl Fine and Rein make everybody happier and now they're ready to go back to work...

But the next day Rush makes clear he intends to make a very unhappy movie -- the seed sprouts into a monster and Bibin and Ed-chin show up. Fine and Rein don't seem to realize that Ed-chin = Edward, and Pumo laughs at him. Anyways, it's time for Fine and Rein to do their thing, and they get rid of the monster pretty easily as usual. Bibin blames it all on Ed-chin, swinging him around and tossing him far, far, away.. poor Ed-chin... meanwhile, Elizabert is stuck hanging on the edge of a cliff from a rope (^^;;) With Rush back to normal the filming of a very happy movie goes on :)

It's been a while since I laughed this much with Futago Hime -- Ed-chin and Bibin make too good of a combo. After all the teasing and punishment Bibin gives Ed-chin you have to feel sorry for him. Poor thing (^^;;) I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of evil (or not so evil) plans the two of them can come up with. Other than that, I was surprised to see so much of Miruro this time, and she got a lot of lines, too. Thank you for listening to us. Hopefully she'll show up regularly from now on :)

Next time.... uh-oh, looks like Rein-chan is going to run wild yet again (^^;;) Obvious at a glance that the animation director is Mariko Kawamoto, so the animation should be rather interesting and it looks like pretty good quality, too.
