Yuzu's got a day off from preschool, but Kippei has to go to school so she's not very happy about it. Until she has an idea.. to take a bentou to Kippei by herself. She finds her way to the school (without getting lost) and looks for Kippei. All the kids there fawn over her ("She's so cute!") and she does find her way to Kippei. Kippei rushes outside with her, not knowing why she came there. She tells Kippei what she did so now everything's happy. And we get our "awwwwww... that's so cute!" scene :)

And as for Kokoro.. seems like she still has something for Kippei, as she suddenly shouts out "dame!" as a couple of girls are talking about him. We'll see... looks like Yuzu's mom will finally be showing up next time. Wonder what's gonna happen.

Yuzu is a maigo (lost child) and Kippei and the family search all over for her. He does eventually find her at the playground. Seems she's still jealous of Kokoro and only wants Kippei... I was hoping she'd be getting over that soon.. and as for Kokoro and Kippei.. looks like they're taking some time apart for now.

What's going to happen with those two? I can't really speculate since I'm no expert in this area, but if y'all want to go ahead. There was some good discussion going on in the comments last time so please say something if you want. It'll probably be more insightful than anything I've said :)

Kippei gets a scolding from onee-sama for forgetting to pickup Yuzu while he was making out with Kokoro. And guess what? He's making out with Kokoro again this time. You know... the school really ain't a good place to be feeling her up, Kippei. Good thing her friends were there to stop him. Anyways... he is on time to get Yuzu and Kokoro's there with him. And Marika-chan sees her.. talk about being mad, lol. 5 year olds really shouldn't be using words like temee, should they?

The next day, Yuzu isn't in a great mood and decides to go home by herself. Kippei's got Kokoro now so she's just a bother. Hope she gets over this jealousy soon. A gloomy Yuzu just ain't right :) And as for Kippei and Kokoro.. I'm not the one to ask about relationships since I'm a bigger loser than Seiji from Midori no Hibi, lol (22 1/2 years and counting). So I can't really say much about that kinda stuff ;)

Kokoro has finally moved out to live on her own. Kippei is a bit worried about her and tries to comfort her.. and yes, finally, y'all have gotten what you wanted :)Kokoro and Kippei are together now.

But what about Yuzu? Kippei totally forgot the promise to help her make paper cranes and somebody else goes to pick her up from preschool since he's with Kokoro. Will Kippei have time to play with Yuzu now that he's with Kokoro? Could somebody be jealous? We'll see :)

Random thought... I wonder what Marika-chan will do if she sees her beloved Kippei-san together with Kokoro. Now that'll be some jealousy there ;)

Yuzuyu's mom sent a letter saying she's not going to be coming back yet and also sent a letter to Yuzuyu. Naturally, Kippei is very curious, but Yuzu won't say anything. The next day, Yuzu goes over to Ken-kun's house with Marika-chan to play. Poor Kippei doesn't have anyone to play with now and he's rather disappointed ;)

At school, Kippei's sitting next to Kokoro now (rakki-!). Kokoro has some problems of her own she's dealing with. Her dad's getting remarried and she's going to be living on her own. More about that next time, as maybe we'll see the Kokoro-Kippei relationship grow a bit (I know a lot of y'all have been waiting for that, ne?) ;)

It's time for the 運動会 undoukai! Yuzu's having a bit of trouble with marching but Kippei-oniichan helps out (pudding is always a good incentive). The whole family comes along to cheer Yuzu on at the athletic meet. But Marika-chan really stole the show this time. She showed off a bit during the dance, and after seeing Satsuki she wants him and Kippei now, too. Can't have just one ;) She does finally get her Kippei-san during the scavenger hunt at the end of the day, taking him away from Yuzu. kawaii~ :)

Kippei didn't realize it, but Yuzu's been wearing a different uniform than all the other kids at the preschool. Marika-chan, taking time out from pretending to be a princess (and Kippei her prince), points that out to Yuzu in a most unkind way as usual (though she does actually say something nice to Yuzu at the end). Kippei and his onee-sama both have no idea why Yuzu won't wear the new uniform they get her. Turns out that Yuzu's mom bought her the uniform she wears so she's pretty attached to it because she thinks that her mom won't be able to find her if she's not wearing it. Knowing that, Kippei comforts Yuzu and finally gets her to wear the new uniform.

And that's about it for this time :) Seems that Kippei's not really looking forward to the day when Yuzu's mom returns and takes her back.. I have read ahead in some scanlations I've downloaded so I know what's gonna happen next (no big surprise, though). The anime is pretty much exactly like the manga so there's not really a need to read it if you're watching.

Evil fugly (as Ten says) stalker girl finds Yuzu again, but Kippei is there to stop her. Kippei has no idea who the girl is so he asks around at school and Kokoro of all people helps him out. Kippei and no longer evil stalker girl have a talk (girl was jealous that Yuzu was getting all of Kippei's attention because girl actually liked Kippei and such) and everything's back to how it was in the end, which means chou-kawaii as usual :)

Looks like Kokoro is warming up to Kippei a bit more since she actually smiled once this time. Just don't call her Kokoro-chin ;)

Things aren't going well at home for Kippei, and Yuzu isn't doing too well either this time. Kippei's onee-san... make that onee-sama... is home from work and in a bad mood... Who knew you were supposed to eat sardines when you're in a bad mood?... Anyways, we finally see the face of that girl that's been following Kippei around... and she's not after him. At least not for love.. must be some other purpose that hasn't been revealed quite yet. What's with those photos she was cutting? I don't like her :P She tells Yuzu that nobody really likes her, they all hate her, so that's why Yuzu's in a bad mood. But Yuzu doesn't tell Kippei about it so he has no idea what's wrong.

Where did all the happiness go this time? Pretty much a downer of an episode instead of the usual all happy and cute. Maybe we'll find out who that girl is next time..

Seems like Kippei's gotten really popular with the girls now. Kokoro is starting to warm up to him, and now he's got some unknown girl after him that we see a couple of times this episode. But that's for next time...

Yuzu and Ken have made up after their little spat last week over the onigiri. But, here comes Marika-chan to disrupt their fun in the sandbox. She doesn't like Yuzu at all. Says her mom told her not to play with kids like her that don't have mothers. I never liked kids like Marika :P Anyways, Marika doesn't have a cool onii-chan like Yuzu does, so she's a bit jealous and asks her mom to give her a big brother like Kippei.

Kippei senses that Yuzu's had a bay day at school again, so he takes her to the conbini to buy some caramel (supposed to make you happy). But, Kippei, it's not good to go inside by yourself and leave Yuzu outside, you know! She loses her hat and runs off after it in the middle of street, almost getting ran over, but Kokoro takes her out of the way. After all of that we get our cute "Awwwwwww" moment of the week, as usual.

I think this show is all the kawaii I need for the week, ne? I should also mention that Yuzu's seiyuu (an 8-year old, if I remember) is doing a great job so far, too :)
