Reader DiGiKerot commented in the first DVD post about the R1 and R2 covers:
"Technically, Pioneer (Sorry, Geneon) did keep the R2 covers. I say technically, because IIRC the R2 rental versions had artwork by the animation staff rather than by CLAMP, which are the ones they used.

Course, the CLAMP ones would have been nice (or better, reversable covers), but I guess they were told they couldn't have them."

Yeah, reversable covers would've been nice.. Thanks for the info :)

I'm going to write a bit about the DVDs as well, extras, covers, that kinda stuff :)

I would've really liked for Pioneer to keep the R2 cover for the DVDs, but the R1 cover is cute enough, I guess :)
