No screencaps this time because they would have been very spoilerific ;) These two episodes bring season 2 to an end.

Sakura finally faces the last of the Clow Cards, EARTHY. It's a bit tough to defeat, but she manages to do it with Kero's help. Now, having collected all of the cards Kero can return to his true form (which is very cool!). But now the time for the Final Judgement and Yue has come...

It's finally time for the play that Sakura's class is doing for the school arts festival. It's Sleeping Beauty, but with a bit of gender-bending.. Sakura's the prince.. and Shaoran's the princess.. seeing Shaoran in the princess outfit (that Tomoyo made!) reminds me of a friend of mine who has a nickname from something he did back in high school.. Venus ;)

So the play's going fine and just as Sakura is about to wake up Shaoran with a kiss (much to Touya's chagrin) a darkness suddenly envelops the stage and Sakura's all alone. It's a clow card, but Sakura has a tough time figuring out what to do by herself since Kero can't help her out. And she can't use magic either.. She eventually does figure out something that will make the darkness go away.. LIGHT. Along with DARK, they tell her that she'll soon meet the mysterious Yue, but that she'll be fine with her invincible spell, "zettai daijoubu da yo" (It will be alright). That mysterious Mizuki-sensei knows it will happen soon, too...

And when it happens I'm going to have to start using the extended entry so I don't spoil things for those of y'all that haven't seen CCS ;)

I wasn't planning on writing anything about this episode, but then a few minutes into it I remembered that Mirror Sakura showed up in it so I had to write something about it ;)

Sakura's got a fever and goes to school anyway so her dad can go on a trip. However, Mizuki-sensei sends her to the nurse. Touya sensed that something was up with Sakura, so he goes outside and Kaho is there to talk with him a bit. She says she came back because she's got something to do..

When Sakura gets home when she senses a Clow Card, CLOUD, causing trouble. Even though she's sick she goes out anyway, and uses MIRROR so Touya won't think she's gone anywhere... When Touya comes to check on Sakura, he realizes that it's Mirror Sakura (and it seems like he's figured out that Kero ain't a stuffed toy, too). He pretty much knows what Sakura's doing and asks Mirror Sakura to not tell her about it.

Sakura, with help from Li, seals CLOUD away. Li gets the card but then he gives it to Sakura. What a nice guy he's becoming ;) Sakura heads on back and goes back to sleep with an even higher fever... but then someone shows up to make her feel better :)

These episodes with Mirror Sakura are always great since they let us learn a bit more about Touya. He's really a yasashii onii-chan, ne?. Despite calling Sakura a kaijuu all the time. He's an older brother so he can do that.. I know since I have two younger sisters ;)

An episode where Yamazaki tells a big lie is one I have to blog ;) Sakura's class is on a field trip at a strawberry farm. And Yamazaki tells a whopper.. did you know that strawberries could once run away so they wouldn't be picked? Sakura and Li both believe him, until Chiharu comments about Yamazaki's lying.. "That was a lie!" ;) And Yamazaki tries to tell another lie while Chiharu is wringing his neck for the "I'll have to pray again.." comment when Chiharu offers to make something for Yamazaki to eat.

The class is supposed to go to a house in the afternoon to make desserts with strawberries, but it's mysteriously locked.. Sakura, Li, Melin, and Tomoyo go to investigate, and the door's open.. but then it shuts. It's the LOCK (of course) card.. while Sakura and the rest search for a way to get out she notices Mizuki-sensei outside the window pointing at something.. Sakura's magical key. Magical key opens magical lock, go figure, so Sakura seals the LOCK card away.

Also seems that Touya has something on his mind about Yukito. And when he tried to unlock the house where Sakura was locked up he stopped before doing it, right when Mizuki-sensei showed up behind him.. rather strange.

Another episode featuring Tomoyo and her pretty voice. But it gets lost this time! It was stolen by the VOICE (of course) card. And Mizuki-sensei said something about Tomoyo having a hard time to Sakura before that happened. Strange teacher...

Sakura's really hard on herself on not being able to do something about the VOICE card when she realized it was there. Li, being nice again, offers to help out, so he and Sakura go to Tomoyo's house to think up a plan. Tomoyo's already got an idea of what's going on between Sakura and Li :) Finally, when Sakura remembers the last time Tomoyo was involved with the SONG card Li comes up with a plan using that card and Sakura seals the VOICE card away and Tomoyo is able to sing once again with the school's choir.

Slowly, Li's warming up to Sakura a bit. Bit by little bit. It's gonna take a while, though ;) It was nice to see Tomoyo's mother this time spending some time with her when she was without voice. Even though Sonomi is a bit hard on Sakura's dad she's still pretty nice :)

Opening: "Tobira wo Akete" - My least favorite of the three openings, but that doesn't mean I don't like it ;) Very kawaii shots of Sakura in a very kawaii costume as seen above. Would've liked to see this one and the costume in the first opening in one of the episodes...
Ending: "Honey" - Same as with the opening, not my favorite of the endings. Relatively static images with some rain falling. Still cute, though :)

It's a new season of Cardcaptor Sakura! Starting out much like the first season with that dream again. Is that Mizuki-sensei in the dream? We'll find out soon...

Our kawaii Sakura-chan has gotten a year older and in 5th grade now ;) She's still in the same class with Tomoyo and Li and Meilin and Touya's still in class with Yukito, too. As she's skating to school with Yukito, he gives her a present for her birthday -- a cute watch. So, of course, Sakura's hanyaaan~ when she gets to school. And who should be their new teacher but Mizuki, much to Shaoran's chagrin (but poor Rika-chan..). Mizuki says something to Sakura about something pretty falling...

Soon, snow starts falling and piles up quickly, covering all of Tomoeda. I'm a snow lover but a meter of it is a bit much ;) It has to be the work of a Clow Card, so Sakura, Tomoyo, and Kero go to investigate.. with Sakura in a new costume by Tomoyo. Usagi da! It's very kawaii rabbit costume :)

Anyways, Melin and Li are out there, too. Seems the snow is the work of.. the SNOW card, of course. Suddenly, the snow gets heavier and aims for Li and Sakura, so they fly away to get it away from Tomoyo and Meilin. However, as they're flying Sakura loses the watch she got from Yukito. Oh no! And now she's really, really, really mad... You don't mess with a girl's love ;) She whips out the Firey card and burns all the snow all over the whole town away and seals the SNOW card away.. Li, being a bit nicer than he has been before, tries to comfort Sakura and offers to help her look for it. But Mizuki-sensei is there already and gives Sakura the watch back. She's definitely not your ordinary teacher as Li says...
