August 1, 2004Sakura doesn't know what to do now that Shaoran finally told her how he feels....
It's time for the "final battle", you might say... Spoilers ahead...

It's time for the High School's cultural festival, and as you can probably tell from the title, Sakura finally tells Yukito that she loves him. But.. Yukito already has a person he likes most. Sakura's feelings for him are like those she has for her father.. But Yukito tells Sakura that she'll definitely find the person she likes most, and that likes her the most, someday...
On the way back from the festival Sakura takes Shaoran to the park to talk a bit about what happened with Yukito earlier. She understands what Yukito said, but still.. she wants to cry and does cry. Shaoran comforts her, though, and tells her she'll find that person someday. Shaoran, you the man! Now just say it, okay ;)
Only 4 episodes and the 2nd movie are left. We're almost done :)

Time for another Christmas episode in the middle of the summer. A bit strange :)
Sakura comes home from taking care of some stuff. While she was out she used MIRROR so mirror Sakura would be there in her place and nothing would seem suspicious. Mirror Sakura wants to say something to Sakura, but she doesn't get the chance since Touya comes to check on Sakura. She and Kero still have no clue that Touya has them figured out for the most part :)
Sakura still needs to buy a Christmas present for her dad so she's going to go with Touya after school to get it. At school, Shaoran tries to say it to Sakura again, but.. Yamazaki has to butt in with one of his lies. Not the time for lies, Yamazaki ;) Poor Shaoran.. that's the second time someone's interrupted him (it was Kero last time). After school, Sakura feels Clow's presences and her and Shaoran have to go and find out what's going on. So she uses MIRROR to call mirror Sakura again, thinking that Touya won't know the difference. Mirror Sakura tries to say something to Sakura again, but she can't...
Of course, when Touya sees mirror Sakura he knows Sakura is out doing something again. But he's nice and invites mirror Sakura to come with him shopping. He even bought her a present. Some ribbon for her hair, which is actually long. This is why I like these episodes with mirror Sakura so much. Really shows the kind side of Touya well :)
Sakura and Shaoran get done with the distubance and when Sakura comes home she has something. A tape she made of a song that Eriol was playing. It's to show her appreciation to the cards. And mirror Sakura is finally able to say thank you to Sakura for all she's done for her and the rest of the cards.
We're almost at the end here. 61 of 70 episodes watched. So I'm going to have to stop writing so much, aren't I? ;)

Poor, poor, Shaoran. I know how you feel, man.. Well, maybe I do... a bit. There was that one girl I liked way back when I was 10 years old and in 4th grade. That was the only time I've been accused of having a girlfriend :) Anyways, putting my bad luck in relationships aside, Shaoran's having some major girl trouble. He can't get his mind off Sakura (awwwwwwwwwwww..).
Sakura and Tomoyo are going to a teddy bear exhibit and so is Eriol. So Shaoran's go to go, right? So he agrees to go and they all go see the teddy bears. Nice musical interlude there, "Ki ni naru aitsu" ("That person on my mind").. As Shaoran goes to the elevator to leave, Sakura follows along and they both get in and wait for Tomoyo.. but Eriol wants to have a bit of fun, so he uses his magic to make the elevator go crazy, trapping Shaoran and Sakura in it. So now they're futarikiri, all by themselves. They're in there for awhile when suddenly, the floor disappears and Sakura falls down into the darkness... "Sakura!".. It's the first time Shaoran has said her name. Sakura's fine, of course, since she used FLOAT. When she comes back up Shaoran embraces her...
So now it's pretty obvious where things are going now. We'll just have to wait for Sakura to figure out things.. it'll take a few episodes, knowing how clueless she is about this stuff. She should really ask Tomoyo ;)

Sakura's reading 不思議の国のアリス Fushigi no kuni no ARISU (that's "Alice in Wonderland" to you and me) for a book report, and while she talks to Eriol about it she mentions that she'd like to see stuff like what's in the book...
Guess what? Yamazaki's back again! :) This time, the subject is... alien cats? Naoko seems to know a bit about them, but Yamazaki tells her even more. More than 1/3 of the cats on Earth are aliens, you know ;)
While Sakura continues to read the book she's suddenly sucked into it! So Sakura plays the part of Alice and all the others have their parts as well and Sakura learns a bit more about each (Eriol as the Cheshire Cat says he's not serious all the time, and such). Shaoran as Tweedledee and Tweedledum asks an interesting question of her (a hint of things to come, I'll say) that she doesn't quite get, as usual ;)
Anyways, pretty fun episode :)

No weird happenings this time, just another nice story :)
Sakura gets a calendar from her father that her mother used and takes it with her to school... Where none other than Yamazaki is there to tell her a bit more about calendars... and teams up with Eriol to do it? Did you know that long ago they used to be drawn on the ground? The largest one spanned over 100km in Egypt! Shaoran and Sakura completely fall for it, as usual ;)
When Sakura gets home from school she notices that on her mother's calendar that today is her great grandfather's birthday, so she wants to make something for him and gets to work.
And I'll leave it at that as far as a summary. It's a nice episode as I said :)

Sakura finally gets that teddy bear she's going to give to Yukito finished with Eriol's help. Shaoran made a teddy bear, too.. Who's he going to give it to? I think we all know that ;) He finally learns why he was attracted to Yukito, so now he can put that aside and find who he really likes... he sees Sakura and turns red and runs away. Sakura's confused, but Tomoyo knows exactly what's going on (gotta love her).
Gotta mention the big lie Yamazaki told this time to Chiharu. Lying to your own girlfriend.. ain't good, Yamazaki ;) Chiharu gave him a teddy bear and was getting to the part about naming the teddy bear Chiharu so they could stay in love (if you give a teddy bear to the person you like most and give it your name you'll stay in love forever, it goes), but Yamazaki jumped in and says he'll name it suama. And then he goes on and on and on and on about it until Chiharu has finally had enough. Those two are sooooo cute ;)
When Sakura finally goes to give the bear to Yukito, Tomoyo of course is along (with Sakura in clothes she made) to record it.. however, the teddy bear suddenly becomes gigantic and starts destroying Yukito's house. Sakura, of course, eventually finds a way to stop it, and shows just how strong she's become by using FLY and SWORD at the same time. Instead of the wings on the staff they're on her back. So things are looking good for now... but a piece of paper with the magic circle that Clow used floats down to Sakura.. what could this mean?
Time to get into the final stretch of CCS!

Opening "Platinum": Sakamoto Maaya. Need I say any more? Got the single ;) Wonderful song and Sakura's in a really pretty costume as seen above (why can't we see it in the episodes?). Probably my favorite of the 3 openings.
Ending "Fruits Candy": A silly song with cute images of Sakura, Tomoyo, and Kero making a cake.

It's the end of summer vaction and Sakura's forgotten to do her homework as usual. Mizuki-sensei is in England, and everything seems pretty normal as all of the Clow Cards have been collected and Sakura's been recognized as their master.
