Okay, think I'll put this in another post like a good blogger now ;)

I read through 3 volumes of Full Moon wo Sagashite tonight (through 5). It was really, really different from the anime. You could almost say completely different. I guess that's because it was made into an anime after only the 4th chapter had been published... But that makes it much more interesting, doesn't it? And it's sooo kawaii~. I love the illustrations of Mitsuki and Eichi together. I am an Eimi fan after all ;)

Btw, Tanemura-sensei seems to be a big fan of console gaming. In the little notes here and there she wrote about games like FF10, Pikmin, and Tales of Symphonia. There are even a few times where a Gamecube shows up in the manga. Madoka has one.. and one time Takuto (as a cat) gets really mad as he's playing something on it. I know how that feels ;)

So here's a few scans to look it. Pretty darn cute, ain't it? The tobira e (illustration at the beginning of a chapter) are definitely my favorites. Though some are.. how to put it.. more that not-quite-so-innocent cute type.

I finished watching Full Moon wo Sagashite last night at the end of an 18 episode marathon (with a short break for dinner). Jeff, you were absolutely right :) I couldn't stop myself from watching more. Those last 10 episodes or so were such a roller coaster ride from despair and depression to seeing hope again, then back down, but thankfully ending happily. Though not quite in the way I had expected (my earlier worries were not on the mark, as usual).. What happened first was something I had thought of as possible, but the other thing that happened after that one was a bit unexpected. But anyways, anybody out there that hasn't seen Full Moon wo Sagashite.. Watch it, you won't be disappointed. It's going up there as number 2 right behind CCS on my favorites list. Whenever somebody licenses it I'll be the first to pre-order it :)

The manga should be on its way here soon so I'll have that to read and compare with how things turned out in the anime. Yet more reading for me :)

Opening: "I Love U" (except "Love" is written as a heart. Always interesting song titles, lol) - Catchy, catchy song. Very cute :)
Ending: "myself" - This is the song that Mitsuki sings as Full Moon that was her debut. Wrote the lyrics all by herself ;) Anyways, nice song, and the animation is some pans across stills of Mitsuki and Eichi-kun back when they were together. Cute :)

After yet another day of watching Full Moon wo Sagashite (and overdosing on kawaii-ness).. a lot of stuff happened these episodes. Mitsuki got a rival, Meroko and Takuto didn't get along, she told her manager and doctor her secret (this early?) and things were looking down for a time, but now she's back to her usual chou-genki self ;)

That rival, Madoka.. what a manipulative #*@&%! (like May from Kaleido Star).. I still don't feel that sorry for her even after they went over how hard she had it as a child actor the last episode I watched. But maybe she'll change.. That's usually what happens, isn't it?..

Anyways, time for more. On to the next batch of episodes!

Woke up early (at 7am) for no reason again today.. what's wrong with me, lol? Anyways, back on subject :) I just watched 11 episodes straight of Full Moon wo Sagashite. Talk about kawaii overload.. wooo.. just watching the opening is way up there on the kawaii-o-meter. But I really like it so far. What can I say? I'm a sucker for cute stuff that has an interesting story :) The last few episodes have kinda been filler-ish, but still good, and I'll keep on watching since I have to know what happens. What's going to happen when/if Mitsuki and Eichi see each other again?... Will it be Full Moon or Mitsuki that he sees, though.. that's always a problem for magical girls, isn't it?.. Have to watch to find out :) Next batch of episodes is halfway done now. More comments after I watch those.
