Kaoruko and Sumireko make plans to go have strawberry tarts with Nozomu, but as usual, stuff happens. Billy the goat gets sick so Nozomu takes him to the vet. The vet's out.. but his very shy meganekko twins, Koi and Ui, are there to help. Turns out Billy ate a fax from Kaoruko and Sumireko... and now it's time for Nozomu to be with Kaoruko and Sumireko.. but.. some of the animals there get out of their cages and he has to put them back. Then Kira and Yura come in with an injured kitten (they were supposed to be doing another one of their "trials").. and then a crocodile gets loose and Nozomu plays crocodile hunter for a bit..
Of course Nozomu doesn't make it. Kaoruko and Sumireko waited 2 hours for him! But they know what happened (thanks to Ui and Koi) and forgive him :)
Pretty much more of the same. Billy was nice this episode for a change. even headbutted that croc.. but I'm guessing he'll back to his usual self next time and terrorize Nozomu once again. Only set of twins left to really introduce is Sara and Souju. Doesn't seem like they'll be in next time, though..
This time: Everyone Hates Nozomu (except for all the twins, of course). Billy the goat hates him, Kira and Yura's butler hates him, and everybody in the Ichijou Sisters Fanclub hates him.
At school, everybody chooses a class to go to, so Kira and Yura choose to go to the cooking class, and so do Kaoruko and Sumireko. Of course all of them went to bake delicious apple pies for Nozomu ;) However, things don't quite turn out.. It's the first time Kira and Yura have cooked, and Kaoruko and Sumireko made a bit of a mistake... So no apple pie for Nozomu. And did I mention he ended up in the class with the entire Ichijou Sisters Fanclub? And even when he goes back home, Lulu and Lala give him some cookies, but Billy eats them. There really must be a curse as Keisuke said ;)
So nothing much has changed, has it? Nozomu's still a rather unlucky guy (which is usually the case with these kinda shows).. except that all these twins like him ;) Not really funny or anything this time, but I shall press on since nobody else is blogging Futakoi. If anything, it's pretty easy on the eyes ;) Anyways, looks like the meganekko twins will be showing up next time.
Billy the goat gives Nozomu a wake up call.. of course Nozomu was dreaming about Kira and Yura and Sumireko and Kaoruko. Nozomu meets up with his friend Keisuke to go see a movie.. Keisuke seems to be rather jealous of Nozomu. What guy wouldn't? Nozomu gets all the twins ;) At the movie theater they run into a group of guys who are the Ichijou Sisters (Sumireko and Kaoruko) Fanclub, and their leader, a rather tough looking guy who gives Nozomu a little warning.
Keisuke forgot the tickets so now Nozomu has some time to waste so he goes to the department store. And there he runs into.. who else but Sumireko and Kaoruko as they're shopping, and they want him to come along... to the swimsuit section. He runs away with a nosebleed and then runs into Kira and Yura who are once again doing something for the first time. They're lost and don't know where to find stuff in the store. So Nozomu helps them out.. then remembers what he's missing. But he gets back to Sumireko and Kaoruko too late.
He goes with Kaoruko and Sumireko to the roof to eat ice cream like they used to do as kids. Of course, Kira and Yura show up and see him.. He tries his best to keep Kira and Yura and Kaoruko and Sumireko from noticing each other, but it doesn't work.. But they actually don't fight over him as he was thought they would.
Hopeless guy, ain't he? All Nozomu ever thinks about is twins. But it just wouldn't be right for this kinda show if he didn't, right? ;) I wonder when we'll see the Shirogane twins, Sara and Souju. They seem to be the only twins that actually have different personalities... not that I'm really complaining about anything ;)
Anyways, it was a nice little diversion after having to take the sightsinging midterm this morning :P Needed something to cheer me up after that almost disaster, and cute stuff works nicely :)

Nozomu, 3rd year middle school student, is moving back to the town he grew up in until a couple of years ago. His father is at an observatory in Hawaii to work, and his mother died when he was a child, so he chose to move back to live with relatives. He has fond memories there.. he often played with these twin girls, Kaoruko and Sumireko. And the twins even made a promise to marry him.. but there's only one of him. That's no problem, both of them together are fine. Awwww ;)
Back to the present, on the way to the place he'll be living he sees a set of twins at a convienience store shopping. He thinks they might be the twins he knows, so he goes inside to look, but they're not. They're Kira and Yura, and are going to be living a more normal life now, instead of being the ojou-sama they were. It's actually their first time in a convienience store. They think Nozomu is kinda scary so run away from him, dropping their wallet. Nozomu tries to give it back, but they keep running away and soon enough he's mistakenly seen as a thief and given a nice slam by Kira and Yura's butler.
To help me remember who is who... Kira has pink ribbons in her hair, Yura purple. Kira's on the left, Yura on the right. Got that? :)
Nozomu finds his way to the place he'll be staying with some relatives, the Sourinji Shrine. There he meets a woman named Miyabi and her daughters, another set of twins, the chou-genki elementary school girls Lala and Lulu, who immediately take a liking to Nozomu. Very kawaii :)
For Lala and Lulu; Lala has pink ribbons and longer hair, Lulu has orange ribbons. Lulu's on the left, Lala on the right. Okay, I think I've got that down...
Later on, another set of twins comes. They're Kaoruko and Sumireko, the twins who used to play with Nozomu. You bet he's happy to see them ("They've gotten so many times more cuter than I could've thought!", and they're happy to see him as well. They'll be going to the same school, so they might be in the same class. Lala and Lulu are somewhat jealous of that ;)
So... Kaoruko has a ponytail, Sumireko no ponytail. That's Kaoruko on the left, Sumireko on the right.
Lulu and Lala bring out their pet goat, Billy (I think that's what his name was. btw, he does the next episode preview), to see Nozomu. It seems like such a sweet thing, but it doesn't like Nozomu that much.. Afterwards, Kaoruku and Sumireko explain a sad tale of love that took place in this town. It's said that the reason so many twin girls live in the town is because of the Futagozuka.
At school the next day, Nozomu meets one of his old friends and his teacher, a very pretty woman named Ai. But he's not in the same class as Kaoruko and Sumireko, unfortunately. But he is in the same class as the twins he saw at the store yesterday, Kira and Yura. It must've been fate! Kaoruko and Sumireko are in there as well when Kira and Yura come in.. I sense some fighting will be going on soon.. maybe ;)
I decided to watch Futakoi becuase I liked the character designs. And I ended up pretty much enjoying the show. But, take that with a grain of salt, since as all of you who've been reading the blog for a while know, my weakness is anything cute. I'm very easily pleased when watching cute stuff :) So even though this isn't exactly the most original or interesting thing out there in terms of this genre, I'll keep on watching. It'll be something nice to watch after a hard day at school :).. It's going to take me a few episodes to remember who's who..
