A very nice wrap-up this time with plenty of action and the usual GIRLS Bravo hijinks. The rest later ;)
Yukinari and the gang leave for Seiren, with Lilica, Kosame, and Hayate staying behind with Koyomi, who keeps the gate to Seiren open (Go Koyomi!). The gang ends up landing in a large open-air bath in Seiren, full of bathing girls (including those two lolis who took a liking to Yukinari way back when he was on Seiren last) much to Fukuyama's delight. So with Fukuyama taking care of business there, Yukinari, Kirie, Tomoka (no da!), and Lisa head towards the headquarters of the Space/Time Administration.
Along the way, Lisa and Tomoka get separated from the group leaving just Kirie and Yukinari. Once they arrive, Hijiri is there to greet them, along with all the workers there she has under her mind control (she's also got Koyomi's father back on Earth under her control as he tries to stop Koyomi from keeping the gate to Seiren open). But, thankfully, Maharu is there to help clean up things, so she and Kirie take care of things as Yukinari heads to rescue Miharu.

Never woulda thought I'd see the day when GIRLS Bravo got to be a serious show, but that's what we got this time. That girl -- whose name is Yukina (that sounds familiar...) -- has Miharu, and her and Hijiri are definitely not up to any good. Meanwhile, back on Earth everyone is trying to find Miharu, and with the help of Fukuyama's spy satellite they figure out that she went to Seiren, and that Hijiri was in the house... but one problem. No more Aqua Lamps to open the portal to Seiren. Hijiri took them.. So that means that Yukinari and everybody else can't go to Seiren to find Miharu... Yukinari goes through the usual "I can't do anything about it, it's hopeless", so forth, even so much as to make Fukuyama of all people scold him and tell him to shape up... He finally shapes up and is determined to get Miharu back. But how are they going to get to Seiren?
A call from Seiren, from Maharu and Nanae (Tomoka and Koyomi's boss) gives them a way. Koyomi has the same power that Miharu has, the power to open a gate to Seiren, the power that she inherited from her mother. So Koyomi, who thought she was a failure and a hinderance to everyone has that kind of power -- even she can't believe it at first, but then she tries her best and opens a gate. She stays behind as Yukinari and the rest go to Seiren...
Yay for Koyomi-chan! But with her behind on Earth I guess that means she won't be in the next episode much with the "final battle" or whatever it turns out to be on Seiren.. but hopefully they'll finish it up quickly so she can have more screentime ;)
So... Yukina, Yukinari.. she has the same condition Yukinari used to have.. I'm sensing a possible connection here. Well, we'll see if that turns out as the suddenly serious GIRLS Bravo second season comes to a conclusion ;)

That hooded girl takes a shower, and there are some strange markings on her body...
Miharu leaves right after school. No one else knows where she went, but she's actually been working for the banana guy to earn money to buy presents for everyone. Back at home... let's just say it's rather insane, with Lisa and Fukuyama and Kosame causing quite a bit of trouble. Tomoka-chan, Ebi is NOT a weapon! ;)... but during the mayhem, something happens. Or rather, nothing happens when Lisa and Kirie and all the other girls touch Yukinari...
治ってるのか!?
He's cured!?
They throw a big party to celebrate and Miharu comes home. Koyomi tells her of the big news... but now that anyone can touch Yukinari, Miharu's lost her special place with him, she thinks. Hijiri, who's been tailing her all day, enters the house and by using some kinda hypnotic eye(?), gets Miharu to follow her back to the bathtub, and back to Seiren, leaving only a broken picture frame with a photo of her and Yukinari...
So the promised serious development comes. Poor Miharu... :( But how exactly did Yukinari get cured in the first place, or is it permanent at all? Some kinda thing with Miharu? Hmmm... and what's Hijiri going to do with Miharu now that she's hers? Questions, questions... Which is what you'd least expect with GIRLS Bravo, isn't it? ;) We'll see where things head as the story climaxes.
Kirie and Tomoka-chan (no da!) try to solve the mystery behind those three dots on Miharu's forehead... seeing that reminds Koyomi of her mother who also had one like that.. and after she sees someone who looks like her father -- who was from Earth -- she goes searching for him, but can't find him. The rest of the gang helps out, and even Fukuyama gets involved.. but that doesn't turn out too well, of course. So Koyomi ends up not finding her father... Meanwhile, Hijiri and that hooded girl are up to no good, trying to somehow obtain the power that's in those designs like the one on Miharu's forehead. And Hijiri has Koyomi's father, it looks....
Much Koyomi this time (very nice eyecatch, btw), but poor thing... nothing good happens to her, ever :( I would've thought she'd know better than to ask Fukuyama for help since he always causes trouble for her (though he might actually be nice from time to time).. The whole thing with Hijiri and that hooded girl is not in the manga so I know as much as y'all do about what's gonna happen next as this little plot (hopefully) develops a bit ;)

Maharu finally makes her appearance, coming to Earth and causing quite a ruckus for Yukinari and the others at the school festival. Especially for meganekko Koyomi and Tomoka, who make a mad dash through the school to try and avoid what they think will be Maharu's wrath for not getting her a nice boy yet. Turns out she doesn't seriously hurt them when she does catch them ;) But what's up with Hijiri? We learned she's from Seiren, and came to earth to get someone... and Maharu seems to know her. Still nothing much about that cloaked girl..
Plenty of Koyomi (seem to be making up for ignoring her up until the past few episodes) and that little mystery, and of course Maharu made things quite fun this time. Hopefully we'll see Maharu again soon, and keep up the streak of Koyomi appearances ;)

A group of three sisters calling themselves Phantom Rabbit tries to steal a very valuable mask from Mamoru. Fukuyama chases them but they get away -- but not with the mask. Phantom Rabbit's cover is a cafe called Nap Rabbit where they work.. Fukuyama's a frequent customer, and Kirie seems to have a crush on him.. But Fukuyama's also a detective for Scotland Yard, and Phantom Rabbit falls into his very sticky trap. But Tomoka as Phantom Rabbit Puchi saves the day ;)
...And at the end it's revealed that we were watching a Cat's Eye parody directed by Fukuyama. For something Fukuyama directed it was rather tame ;) Though I wonder how he got Koyomi, Kirie, and Miharu to participate in the filming...
こよみちゃん大活躍!
It's about time Koyomi got some screentime -- she really stole the show as the older sister of Phantom Rabbit ;) The scene where she talked sweet to Fukuyama to steal the CD was hilarious. Yukinari was pretty funny as the evil mask stealer, Black Snow, too.
Looks like we can look forward to some more Koyomi next time.. as a meganekko? And also Miharu's big sister, Maharu comes back, much to Yukinari's delight, I'm sure ;)
For thoughts from another Koyomi fan see Nanami's entry on this episode.

The gang's watching a horror movie (Kirie doesn't seem to be enjoying it) when Tomoka comes in and turns it off. She's bored no da! She wants to do something fun. So Kirie suggest they play an Earth game.. some kind of card game, but Tomoka isn't having fun because she's losing. She wants to play a more adult game... and who should have snuck in but Fukuyama (sending Koyomi running, trying to find somewhere to hide) -- he's got an adult game they can play ;)

Koyomi bathes with Miharu and somehow Miharu manages to break the bathtub... The next morning they sneak out while Yukinari's still sleeping and meet up with Kirie. Tomoka (na no da!) notices it and tries to wake Yukinari up by hitting him with Ebi (poor Ebi..), but it takes a while before he finally gives in and they both go see what the girls are up to.
They follow them to the site of the Tokyo Game Carnival but lose track of them in the busy crowds of game-loving otaku onii-sans. Tomoka thinks she spots Poyon-chan -- but when she sees it's a cosplayer guy she procedes to beat him down using Ebi (poor Ebi...). When Yukinari tries to stop Tomoka from making more of a fuss he bumps into a rather mysterious looking cloaked girl, along with another woman... the girl breaks out after Yukinari leaves, much like he does when he's touched by a girl...

Tomoka sets out to start work, with Ebi tagging along with her (no da!). She runs into Kirie (she calls her 小島のお姉さん), who says she shouldn't work so much, she should have some fun, then offers to take her to see Poyon-chan, a character Tomoka likes. For a second Tomoka thinks about it, then says no. Kirie then makes a big mistake.... saying that since Tomoka is really a kid she should act like a kid and have fun. Tomoka's not a kid no da! She calls Kirie an おっぱいお化け then runs away crying...
And then runs into Fukuyama (she calls him an エロエロ星人) who follows her. Tomoka says she's looking for guys to bring back to Maharu (Miharu's older sister). But she's not talking about Fukuyama ;) Fukuyama continues to tag along with Tomoka as they walk through a shopping district, then Tomoka spies something... Kirie walks out of a bakery then talks with a guy she knew, that apparently still likes her...

At school, Miharu eats and eats and eats some more kani pan, leaving a pile of wrappers on her desk.. then one flies away and as they walk outside the classroom. A guy with a crazy mask (and one of those wrappers on his face) confronts them. He protects the school from those who would dirty it, as part of the Mamo Rangers! Well, 'cept he's the only one of them :P Hijiri-sensei (no, not that Hijiri) drags him away before he causes any more problems. His real name is Machida Mamoru, btw.
Miharu, being Miharu, wants to help out Mamoru so she takes him to Lilica, who teaches him the various arts of cleaning through tough training. And the next day he's at this thing again, 'cept a bit powered up.. but after a crow drops a little something on him he goes crazy and starts wrecking the school.. then when he tries to stop Lisa from doing her experiments he ends up creating a giant monster that wrecks the school. But with Lilica's encouragement, he defeats it.. but the school's a wreck now :P
This episode was highly modified from the manga. Didn't quite work as well for me, though Mamoru was still somewhat entertaining. Mamoru and the Mamo Rangers should show up again sometime, though we're skipping to something else next time. And the next time we see him perhaps he'll have some more people in his sentai ;)
Next time Fukuyama and Tomoka team up. Should be fun :) Hopefully, there'll be some Koyomi soon. She's barely been in so far :P
