Continuing from where we left off last time, Yukinari and the rest are at some hot springs and everybody's having fun now. Except for Koyomi.. she's a bit worried that Fukuyama might show up and do iyarashii things to her yet again. But the hot springs they're at are owned by Fukuyama, and we all know nothing good comes from anything Fukuyama is associated with... of course, it was a set up so Fukuyama could do his thing as usual. Which makes Kirie mad so she challenges Fukuyama to settle things fair and square... by playing ping pong?
However, Kirie doesn't have very good luck and loses. So she's supposed to do what Fukuyama says.. and it must be very indecent since Fuji TV censored just about everything on the screen. Next, Koyomi and Yukinari take on Fukuyama, but Yukinari is knocked out.. So it's Koyomi against Fukuyama by herself.. and man, she's really good! Was a champion back on Seiren. But Fukuyama counterattacks using "Project S", i.e. saying very indecent things to Koyomi, which makes her lose concentration.. but she comes back in the end and wins. And Fukuyama gets what he deserves :)
A few more laughs this time. Btw, this marks the end of the "first season" of Girls Bravo. I'm assuming the "second season" will be coming soon (nothing on the website as of yet)..

It's the required onsen episode this time. Though not really much of one as compared to others given Fuji TV's censoring.. Anyways, Yukinari and the rest go to an onsen.. but there's nothing there but gators (I HATE gators!!) and bananas. So they head on somewhere else and eventually find another place in the woods... where Fukuyama and Lisa are. As usual, they're up to no good, with Fukuyama inviting the girls to take a dip in his onsen and Lisa plotting to have Yukinari all to herself. Tomoka's too busy watching that magical girl show to do anything ;) But there's a ghost haunting the onsen, and to finally rest in peace she possesses Kirie (though Lisa wanted to do it so she could do "this thing" and "that thing" with Yukinari...) and hugs Yukinari.
So it wasn't quite so funny this time. Once again a mix of different manga chapters. Fukuyama's antics were somewhat amusing. Does he have cameras everywhere? Next time is "Ping Pong de Bravo!" :)

Mostly Lisa stuff this time, for those that like her ;) Tomoka has a bit of a fight with Kirie over what to watch on TV.. Tomoka wants to watch a mahou shoujo show so Kirie calls her a kid. So Tomoka proves that she's not a kid.. by using her magical hammer? Tomoka can use transformation magic. She takes Ebi and transforms it into a cute little girl... who Kirie and the rest pay more attention to than Tomoka. Then Lisa shows up unannounced and Tomoka fights with her... Ebi-chan leaves with Lisa and there's a bit of a flashback of how Lisa came to use magic when she was a child. She didn't have any friends so she used magic to make a doll come to life... Fukuyama does show up, and upon seeing Ebi-chan tries to take her away. Any girl, young or old, is fine with him, of course.. but Lisa puts a quick end to that :)
Tomoka and Lisa eventually run back into each other at the park and they fight again, with Lisa winning again. But they make up and become friends. How sweet :)
I remember in the manga that the part about Tomoka transforming Ebi was a short omake, and she used a candy cane looking rod to do it. I suppose Ebi will be back to the usual.. whatever it is next time.

It's the Attack of the Miharu Clones! Momotato's worst nightmare come true! ;) Miharu is all excited about a science experiment since she thinks it involves food. Of course it doesn't.. but that doesn't stop her from drinking a beaker of alcohol. And poof! hundreds of Miharu clones start to appear and overrun the school. Their target -- anything edible, especially bananas. While Yukinari searches for the real Miharu, Kirie and Fukuyama head to the banana guy's shop, but they're too late. The Miharu clones have wrecked it and are on to the supermarket. And there the banana guy and his compatriots make a final stand against the Miharu clones.. with Kirie and Fukuyama's help. The Miharus vanish when they're touched so Fukuyama has quite a time. And then the banana guy brings out his ultimate weapon -- the banana suit! -- which Fukuyama puts on and goes out to finish the job. Yukinari eventually finds Miharu at the park, asleep under a tree, thinking it was all a dream. A lot of laughs this time :)

Maharu wants a husband so Tomoka has come to Earth to find one for her no na. Don't call Tomoka a kid no da! Tomoka challenges Koyomi to see who can find a husband for Maharu first no da... but before that, some weirdo animal comes out of Tomoka's bag. Miharu thinks it looks yummy. But she doesn't eat it, she keeps it and calls it Ebi (maybe as an emergency food supply?).
Kirie and the rest offer to help out Koyomi find a man suitable for Maharu.. but Kirie's ideas don't quite work out so well for Koyomi... or actually, they work too well. Modeling Honda bikes (are they sponsoring this show or something?).. dressing up as a panda... And Lisa thinks that Koyomi is the one looking for a husband (Yukinari, of course) so she gets involved with it, too.. and then realized she had screwed up after having her bodyguards do some stuff.. poor Koyomi. But Tomoka isn't having any luck either no da. Until she finds someone and runs back to the bath in Yukinari's house... with Fukuyama, who immediately goes after Koyomi and falls into the bath and poof!, they're in Seiren in Maharu's bath. And she ain't happy with Tomoka na no da, so she sends all of them back to Earth.. where Fukuyama terrorizes Koyomi some more. Poor Koyomi...
If I remember correctly, in the manga Tomoka teamed up with Fukuyama to get guys to go back to Seiren. That was pretty funny... looks like they're taking material from chapters here and there and putting it together for the anime. It's working for now, I suppose :)

After another week off... this time it's an episode for all the Kirie fans out there ;)
Kirie goes over to Yukinari's house to spend some time with him, but Yukinari doesn't answer so she helps herself in and Yukinari is there all gloomy.. since Miharu's not there.. Earlier Kirie saw Miharu riding in a white limo... it's Fukuyama!
So Kirie and Yukinari go to Fukuyama's giant mansion. However, only girls are allowed inside so Yukinari's got to find another way in. It doesn't quite work as he gets lost in the hedge maze around the mansion... and also gets assaulted by machines and maids with big guns ;)
Meanwhile, Kirie goes to look for Miharu, but bumps into Fukuyama instead.. And he has some fun with her.. Nurse Kirie and Miko Kirie make an appearance ;) And after she finds her way out of that mess the lesbian bodyguard finds her.. but some ghosts that Fukuyama's sister Lisa summoned cause a ruckus so Kirie gets away (I'm sure some of y'all aren't happy to hear that) and finds Miharu and they run away.. but poor Yukinari is still stuck in the maze.
Hilarious stuff as usual. Poor Yukinari.. he really tried to be brave and rescue Miharu this time. I don't know how you survive getting shot at by machine guns and stepping on a mine ;)
Updated 1:34AM: So that's why there's so much steam and why it's dark all the time....

Yes, there's a new girl this time for all of y'all that have been waiting. While Yukinari's walking to school with Kirie and Miharu she bumps into him.. Yukinari breaks out immediately. Apparently, Yukinari is fated to be with this girl. At least that's what she thinks..
At school, Fukuyama's interested in who this girl is, of course. After Kirie does a suplex on him.. but some bodyguard type people come in and take Yukinari away.. The gal bodyguard seemed to take a liking to Kirie (no comment). They take Yukinari to the gym where that girl from earlier is, dressed up in some kinda weird witch clothes. She's Fukuyama's younger sister, Lisa. And she's going to use her magic to cure his allergy.. Doesn't work.. Yukinari gets the bad end of it, as usual. And after all of that, Lisa's made a feast for her Yukinari-sama to eat. Takes a bit of persuasion, but he does finally eat... and then Lisa's got another way to cure Yukinari's allergy. "Yukinari-sama... Lisa wo o-meshiagari ni natte" (no comment).
Anyways, it's pretty funny as usual :) I'll keep watching. If I had to pick a favorite now.. Guess it'd be Miharu. Cute :) Maybe some more new character will be introduced next time.
Opening "going my way" by yazuca*: It's just about all Miharu for the opening. Song doesn't especially impress me, but it's not bad either.
Ending "Koko ni iru kara.." by Hashimoto Miyuki: All Miharu again, in the bath swaying back and forth.

No new gals this time, guys. Sorry ;) But there is more Miharu and Kirie for y'all. Kirie has somewhat gotten friendlier with Miharu now. And man, Miharu can eat! She loves her bread, so Yukinari said that he'd buy some curry bread at school for her to try. While Yukinari and Kirie are at school, Miharu ate all the food at the house, so she goes out and tries to find her way to Yukinari's school so she can buy that "extract of happiness", curry bread ;)
At school, we're introduced to the number one hentai there, Fukuyama. Pretty much Yukinari's opposite in terms of girls. He loves them ;) Kirie absolutely hates the guy and gives him a good beating (taking out a couple of windows in the process). Miharu finally finds her way to the school where Fukuyama hears her talking with Yukinari outside.. and he decides to have her for himself. So it's a big chase until just like in the first episode, Miharu's power activates and blows Fukuyama away, at least for now.
It's been fun watching so far. Maybe we'll get some more of the girls introduced in the next episode or two (know some of y'all can't wait), though Miharu is definitely the main one. Poor Yukinari... how does he survive all the beatings he takes?
One note -- I checked the official website and there's no GIRLS Bravo next week. Week after I'll be back with "Cooking wa Bravo!" :)
Edited 10:04PM: The GIRLS Bravo site has an interview with yozuca*-san and Hashimoto-san. As I was re-watching a couple of Da Capo episodes this afternoon I noticed that yozuca sung the opening song for it. GIRLS Bravo is her 2nd time singing. It's the first time for Hashimoto-san.

I belive you can tell what kind of show this is just by the title, but I shall summarize anyways ;) So here's the setup:
Enter one Miyuki Yukinari. 2nd year high school student. Short. And he's allergic to girls. Seriously, he is. He's been teased by girls ever since he was little ("Chibinari!") so he developed an allergy that causes him to break out in a rash when he's touched by a girl. When he gets home from school and goes to take a bath, a classmate of his, Kirie is already in there.. she punches his lights out and he falls into the bathtub... and disappears!
He wishes there were a girl out there who was kind, unlike the ones he knows, and who only thought of him.. Kids, be careful what you wish for 'cause you might get it and then some ;) He pops up in another bathtub.. and there's a girl there (much, much steam for those who are wondering)... Who likes him. But for some reason he doesn't break out in a rash when she hugs him. Her name's Miharu and this is her house.. not on Earth, but on Seren (in Japanese SEEREN), in the Green(or Blue, whatever "aoi" means there) Forest Capital. Miharu's sister shows up for a bit to have some fun with Yukinari, but Miharu drags him away outside. And the Earth is right there in the sky.. but there's one odd thing about this place. There are mostly girls on this planet. Very few guys (only 1/10 of the population), so go figure.. all of them want Yukinari and they chase him and Miharu and eventually surround him. But suddenly there's flash of light and an explosion and Yukinari is sent flying and eventually drifts back to Miharu's house (after taking quite a beating). The bath glows and they can hear Kirie crying, worried about Yukinari so it's time for him to go back. Time for a bath! He just jumps in with clothes on and he's back in his own house again... but Miharu is there, too. Uh-oh.. Kirie is pissed and knocks his lights out again..
And that's it for the first episode. There was one girl that was on for a bit (while that explosion was going on) that ended everything in "na no da". Everytime I hear that now I think of Neneko from Yumeria. Anyways... Not extremely interested just by this first episode, but I'll give it a chance and watch some more. Seems like Momotato already likes it (despite the steam, eh?) ;)
