There are some big differences between the manga and anime, but most of the important things have generally survived intact, though with those changes to make it fit within 12 episodes (we're talking 800 pages, 28 chapters in 4 volumes). Like how Nanoka and Koushirou said goodbye when he moved out is pretty different in the manga. The 4th volume did go on after what happened in episode 10 of the anime so I have an idea of what's going to happen, and... well, I can't say what happens 'cause that would spoil it for y'all, right? ;) (Though for those that like spoilers I might scan a page or two and add it to this post when I can get to the scanner) That volume isn't the last so I don't know how the story ends or anything and I don't see the 5th volume listed on Amazon.co.jp yet so I dunno when it'll be out. It'll be a while 'til I read it probably *sigh*.

Well, let's turn up the drama a bit more ;) Nanoka is having a rough time without being able to see Koushirou. She still loves him.. Koushirou is going about his business at work as usual, trying to not think about Nanoka with everything he's got. However...

"I want it... I want to touch her.. embrace her.. be by her side more.. but it's no good.. I'm so dirty..."

Well, now we know exactly how Koushirou feels about Nanoka and he's realized it, too. So he decides to move out and separate himself from her. Nanoka isn't mad or anything at him for what he did last time, but Koushirou has made his mind up not to see her anymore and tells her so as they sleep together (nothing bad, okay!) in his bed one last time. Somehow, I doubt that will be the last time they see each other. We shall see..

And the ad for the 1st Koikaze DVD there at the end... that's an interesting way to promote it ;)

What in the heck was up with Koushirou this time? He was actually nice to Nanoka the entire episode for once, even though he did seem a bit worried about what she said last last time. And as for Nanoka, she meant what she said 'cause she says it again and I suppose she does mean it that way. Koushirou still hasn't quite said it, though it certainly seems like he thinks that way, too. Seems from the next ep preview like we might find out if that's the case soon ;)

More from Nanoka's point of view this time. The preparations for the cultural festival are still underway and Nanoka gets a love letter from a guy in another class. Nanoka goes to Koushirou for advice, but he ain't really all that interested in hearing about it. Tells her to do as she wants to. So she turns down the guy.

Seems that she's starting to like Koushirou more. At the end she says those words - O-niichan ga suki and Koushirou takes it the wrong way... or is it the wrong way? Hmmmm... We'll see.

Nanoka appears in Chidori ga yuku for the first time and asks if she's a brother-con or not. According to Chidori.. she is ;)

Good ol' sibling fight this time between Nanoka and Koushirou. But before that... it's autumn and that means festival time at Nanoka's school. Seems some rumors of her being a brother-con have been flying around school recently. Same with Koushirou where he's being teased by his co-workers about Nanoka (the lolicon guy is especially jealous, as usual). Nanoka stays late to help out with the festival with a guy from another class and he walks her home.. Koushirou sees the two of them and is not very happy about it, so he drags Nanoka home and they have a nice big fight over it.

But, as usual, they do make up at the end :) Was glad to hear more of what Nanoka thinks about the whole thing this time. Hope we'll learn some more next time. And boy, can I sympathize with Nanoka about almost getting smushed on the train to school. That's me riding the buses at UGA, holding on for dear life with one hand while the buses race around curves :)

Speaking of that lolicon guy, he's back again in Chidori ga Yuku this time confessing. As if getting whipped last week wasn't enough, this week...

Koushirou is mostly out of it after what he did last time and pretty much acts like a jerk (much like episode 2). He doesn't know what to do or what to say or anything, but most of all, he's worried about whether or not Nanoka realized what he did. Doesn't seem like she does... Koushirou seems to regret what he did... By the end, Koushirou does get a bit nicer, getting Nanoka something for her birthday.. seems he thinks it's a way for him to apologize to Nanoka, too...

Well, I don't anticipate that things'll be getting any better next time. Koushirou'll probably do something again... Still would like to know a bit more of what Nanoka is thinking...

This episode focuses more on Koushirou's feelings. When taking Nanoka to a movie he saw his ex-girfriend walk by and after the movie sends Nanoka home (she's not very happy about that) and goes to see his ex to explain things (You know, she's my little sister, that's it). They both go have dinner to talk over things a bit. And then.. well, some of y'all might just turn it off after what Koushirou does when he gets home...

If you must know, while doing the laundry one of Nanoka's bras fell out of the basket and he picked it and then... well.. put it up to his face and started sniffing it. While he was doing that Nanoka opened the door, but immediately went back. I don't think she saw what Koushirou was doing.

We're approaching that line, I guess you could say... I figured Koushirou would start down this road sooner or later, and I can't see how things will turn out well now... Well, we'll see what happens next time. Still haven't really heard more of Nanoka's thoughts about things.

Koushirou apologizes for what he did this time. Chidori is not amused this time (as usual) and neither am I. He deserves what he got, maybe worse :P
