Seiji's older sister, Rin, shows up unannounced this time. She's a fighter like Seiji is. In fact Seiji learned everything he knows about fighting from her. Some of her old gang friends from high school show up and they go off to the onsen.

The main part of this episode is Midori learning a bit more about Seiji from Rin. Rin tells Midori about Seiji as kid, how he was passive and would just smile when he was being picked on. She taught him how to fight back, and told him he had that "Devil's Right Hand". So he fought back one day, even though there was no way he could win 4 against 1. But he didn't get picked on again. Midori likes Seiji even more now after learning about these things than she did before... Is that possible?... Then she makes yet another discovery about Seiji (see last screencap) ;)

Looks like the weirdo doll collector is up next time. Should be fun :)

Another good episode :) Follows the manga pretty closely if you've read it. Seiji fights some more, saving one of his classmates, Ayase, from some ruffians. Seems she's taken a bit of interest in Seiji now after seeing his "softer" side, I guess you could say :) Seiji and Midori go back to Midori's house... mansion again to visit, and this time they're let in. Midori's been asleep for 3 days now, and her mother has no idea why or what's going on. Midori's mother tells Seiji about how Midori always admired him and such and shows him some pictures of him that Midori had, then leaves him alone with Midori. And then Seiji has an idea to try something to get Midori back to her body.... and it fails in a pretty hilarious way. I'm surprised Seiji didn't have a nosebleed (see last picture). I guess he must be somewhat used to it from looking at that stash of pr0n under his bed ;)

Blah, blah, don't read if you don't want to know about the first episode, so on, so forth :)

I've read some of the manga so I knew what was going to happen and such but I still really enjoyed Midori no Hibi. I laughed quite a bit :)

Seiji is a high schooler, a rough type who fights with his "Devil's Right Hand" and beats up rival gangs. However... he's single. No girlfriend. It's always been that way. No matter how many times he tries to ask girls out, they're always scared of him and turn him down. Awwwww, poor Seiji... But one day, he gets his wish for a girlfriend... But not quite in the way he expected.. A girl suddenly shows up on his right hand. She's Midori, and has admired Seiji from afar since she was in middle school. Seiji is just a bit surprised at this turn of events (I think I'd be too, just a wee bit) and has no idea what he'll do now to keep up his tough guy image with this cute girl as his right hand, so he takes a day off from school. One of the other guys in his gang wants to pay a visit, though, and so do some cute girls that are fans of Seiji's. However, those girls aren't quite as nice as they seem, and attack Seiji (they're members of a rival gang), but Midori protects Seiji. Ain't that sweet? :) That's it for episode 1.

Midori no Hibi is probably my favorite out of the new shows I've watched so far. Animation's pretty nice, and the music is nice, too. Opening and ending songs are great, and the opening animation itself is great, too :) So all of y'all go watch it when the fansubbers get to it, ne? :)
