It's training time! Jiraiya's teaching Naruto a jutsu that the Forth used. Only took him 3 years to learn it... It's a powerful jutsu, but oddly, it doesn't require any hand seals at all. As Naruto trains Jiraiya is in town.. ahem... "gathering information".. more like going to that place with the pretty ladies and getting his frequent customer card stamped. Naruto finally pops that balloon, but now he's got to pop.. a rubber ball? More training next time!

Sasuke finally has a change to fight Itachi but he's absolutely no match for him. Itachi uses the genjutsu he used on Kakashi so Sasuke's pretty much out of it for now. Jiraiya tries to get Itachi, but they escape from his summon... he summoned a frog stomach... by using some kind of black fire... That woman that Jiraiya is looking for seems like an interesting character. We'll see ;)

Itachi takes on Kakashi with his Sharingan this time. He uses a pretty nasty genjutsu on him that Kakashi only gets through because it seems that Itachi didn't want to kill him. Gai shows up to save the day with that trademark smile of his, so Itachi decides to call it quits for now. Looks like they're (along with the other members of their organization) after the Nine-Tails sealed inside Naruto, so that's why Jiraiya is taking Naruto with him. Next episode looks like it'll be funny. The ero sennin gets into some woman trouble. As I would expect ;)

Naruto starts a new arc with a pretty good episode. Sasuke's brother, Itachi, has come back to Konoha for something. Even Orochimaru is scared of him so he must be pretty strong, and shows his strength off when he fights two of Konoha's Jounins. Jiraiya, the sukebe hermit shows back up, too. Seems the elders want him to be the next Hokage, but he doesn't want to do it at all... too busy conducting his "research", I'm sure.

It's Kakashi against Itachi next time. Hope this fight doesn't last forever....

Konoha says farewell to the Third this time, finishing up the current story arc. That's really about all that happens. Someone with a sharingan shows up at the end, though. I haven't read the manga so I dunno what's gonna happen next.

This arc got a bit slow at times with all the fighting, but in the end, the last couple of episodes have been pretty darn good. That's why I started and kept watching Naruto in the first place :)

More flashbacks to Gaara's childhood this time. Seems nobody loved him, not even his mother. How sad... Meanwhile, the Hokage and Orochimaru are STILL at a standstill. Hurry it up, okay!.. Gaara's tranformed form isn't really all that scary. Looks like some kinda... raccoon or something like that, I guess. Anyways, looks like we'll get some Naruto against Gaara next time. And the big frog boss. Let's just get this fight over soon :)

It's flashback time again! This time we go back to Gaara's childhood again. He's lonely and doesn't have any friends. I still don't have much of any sympathy for him, though, if that's what they're trying to get. The Hokage and Orochimaru are still not done with their fight. C'mon guys, let's get it over with already! Kakashi and Guy competing to see who could kill more was kinda funny :) Looks like it'll be Naruto against Gaara next time. Pick up the pace a bit, please :)

It's what we've all been waiting for! We finally get the Sasuke-Gaara fight. Sasuke has to use the Chidori to hurt Gaara at all, and Gaara still has only halfway transformed (I'm with Temari, I'd rather not see his completely transformed form). And Gaara has gone completely crazy. There is a short flashback where we see a scene from Gaara's childhood, how he was feared by the other children and couldn't make any friends.. it looks like the next episode will cover more of that.. The fight between the Hokage and Orochimaru is still going on, still without a resolution... And guess who finally shows up? Naruto shows up when Sasuke is in trouble (that curse that Orochimaru put on him has came back) and is ready to fight Gaara. Should be an interesting fight, I guess..

Well, we're gonna hafta wait for the Sasuke-Gaara fight 'til next week since it just got started this one. But we do get Kankurou and Shino (the bug guy) going at it. Shino's pretty darn good with those bugs and beats Kankurou pretty well, but not before inhaling some poisonous gas. Wonder if he'll be okay?... Back in Konoha, the Hokage and Orochimaru are still going at it, and the kids are still making their way to a safe room. On the way there, one of the Hokage's faces on the mountain cracks.. Not a good sign... Gaara finally wakes up and when Sasuke catches up he changes into his monster form. Temari can't even look at him since it's so scary, I guess. Hopefully the fight won't last 2 or 3 episodes :)

The fight between Orochimaru and the Hokage continues. The Hokage uses the same technique that the 4th Hokage used to seal the Nine-Tails to finally defeat the two previous Hokage who Orochimaru summoned, then takes on Orochimaru. But we still don't really know the outcome of the fight yet (but we have an idea. I can't really say anything about it, go watch). And guess who showed up again? The sukebe old geezer, Jiraiya, on his big frog, fights the snake that's been destroying Konoha.

As far as Sasuke and the rest go.. Sasuke's caught up to Kankurou and is ready to fight, but the bug guy shows up and says he'll take him on. That guy still gives me the creeps.... Looks like we'll finally see the real Sasuke-Gaara fight next episode.
