October 24, 2006I finally finished moving stuff around in my room and have the digital camera back, so as promised:
Apologies if it's too shaky (digital camera video, I can't hold it steady and such), but I hope y'all like it :) And here's some of the stuff I've gotten since the digital camera broke (and wasn't fixed for a couple months). Not too much since I got the new laptop then ;)

Here's my Dell Inspiron E1505. Worked pretty well for me since I got it at the end of July. Only got 15GB (of a 120GB hard drive) of space left, through, already (^^;;)

And here we've got Sasami Mahou Shoujo Club DVD #1 (with only one episode, but cheap and with some extras), Shana DVD #1, Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime DVD #13 (the last one), and Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime Gyu! DVD #1.

Here's the box that came with the first pressing of the last Futago Hime DVD. Very cute :)
Anyways, I'm feeling much better today since I actually slept well for the first time in about a month or so. Got a bit of news here first, then I'll get to doing some catching up here. If you haven't voted in the poll yet, hurry up since it'll be closing soon. Glad to see Asatte no Houkou up there in the #3 spot :)
Well, looks like ADV listened and changed it to something more acceptable. Thank you :)

Well, more bad publicity for Sony (I'm a Nintendo person, so it's not like I'd complain about that). Can't they get a decent PR person? (^^;;)
Blogging from the kitchen table instead of my room since I'm busy trying to finish getting it painted (about half a wall left), so it's a mess. Anywho, whew, finally back home after a long day. Thursdays aren't going to be too good for blogging or watching stuff now.. doesn't help that most of the stuff I watch is on Thursdays (^^;;) The past few weeks I've gone back to helping out my mom and dad at a mission in a trailer park nearby Thursday nights (from about 6:00-8 or 9, or 10:30 like tonight) and Sunday afternoons (from 4-5). I help out my mom and another adult with the children -- had something like 24 tonight, so it's pretty loud and pretty tiring to try and keep up with all of them, but it's fun. As soon as my mom told them I spoke Japanese I got a flood of "How do you say" so and so, "How do you read that?", "How do you say my name?" questions from them (and a few parents, too). That's pretty much always how it is when people find that out ;) Because I'll be at school and there pretty much all day long I'm not going to have much time to watch or blog so I'll have to put stuff off until Fridays, probably... when I can get back on schedule here (^^;;) I'm feeling a lot better than I did last week, and I'm sleeping better, too, so I'm slowly getting things back to the usual.
Anyways, once I get my room painted and everything back in place I'll be able to post pics of stuff and maybe do another video tour of the room. I guess I'd better get to watching all of today's stuff now. Hopefully I can force myself to write quick, concise entries about the series I need to catch up on (Asatte no Houkou, Kanon, etc.) so I can get back on track next week since I know some of y'all want to know what I think of what all is on now ;)
And I've put up a new poll about the new shows that I'm watching now, too. It'll be open until next Wednesday, so y'all hurry up and vote. See Kanon is narrowly beating Negima!? now, as expected.
Feeling a lot better now, so I'm slowly getting back into the usual routine here and think I can get back started with the blogging again tonight :) I'm somehow going to do a wrap-up of all the stuff that ended last week, maybe separate entries, maybe one big entry just to catch up. As for the new shows, here's what I plan to watch (or have watched already), with things I intend to blog at this point in italics.
Sunday
Galaxy Angel II
Wednesday
Negima!?
Yoakena
Innocent Venus
Thursday
Kanon
Gift
Happiness!
Asatte no Houkou
Sasami Mahou Shoujo Club
Sumomo Momomo
The Third
Saturday
Otogi Juushi Akazukin
Fushigobshi no Futago Hime Gyu!
Otome wa Boku ni Koi shiteru
As usual, plans subject to change depening on how things go with each show over the next few weeks. Anyways, news...
Lucky☆Star Anime Planned
So KyoAni's next project is this, huh... I've heard of this before, but haven't read the manga (it's 4-koma) at all. Guess I'll have to check it out now :)
It's already October? Time flies by too fast (How many times have I said that recently?). I'm feeling a lot better than I was earlier in the week, good enough to probably get back into the blogging routine later on today or tomorrow with some quick entries to try and cover some of the backlog here... but we'll see how much of that I can get done before the rush of new shows (^^;;)
I've been keeping myself busy today watching college football -- Dawgs beat Ole Miss tonight, so that's part of why I'm in a better mood -- and doing a bit of remodeling here in my room, getting rid of the bunk bed with only one bed on top and lots of my mom's stuff stuffed under it giving me absolutely no room to put anything of my own. Much, much better now. I've got a place on my dresser with all of my Futago Hime-related figures and such now, too :) Now to paint so that the walls is all white instead of... 1/2 of one wall and about 7/8 of another wall is white, the rest is green. My dad never finished the job (^^;;) btw, my camera is FINALLY going to be fixed/replaced, so I'll be able to take pics of all the stuff I've gotten since it broke and post 'em in a week or so.
Anyways, I'm going to try and sleep a bit better tonight so I can be ready to go later on, but just a bit of news first.
2nd Season of Kiddy Grade? (via MOON PHASE)
MOON PHASE reports that during episode 35 of Haruhi SOS Dan Radio that Aya Hirano said that a second season of Kiddy Grade is in the works and that it will focus on what happens to Eclaire and Lumiere after the events of the first season. I've been waiting to see what gimik (Keiji Gotou, Megumi Kadonosono, Hidefumi Kimura) would be doing next after doing Uta~Kata with HAL Film Maker a couple of years ago since I did enjoy watching both that and Kiddy Grade, so I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
Romeo & Juliet... Gonzo-style (via MOON PHASE)
Continuing from Gankutsuou, Gonzo is going to be bringing us their interpretation of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. In the staff I see Jun'ichi Satou listed as supervisor :)
