Sorry for being lazy with Shana.. only been a couple of months ;) Anyways, from the title of this ep you would think we'd see Shana and Yuuji kissing... but nope... though we do see the hentai kyoudai kissing more than a few times. I get it, I get it, y'all don't have to do it anymore, really (^^;;) Yoshida-san (I'll refrain from giving her a nickname based on what we saw in that swimsuit ep... a certain song came to mind while I was watching that ep...)seems to have gotten a bit more aggressive in her persuit of Yuuji, once again making Shana jealous. Over the past few episodes one thing has become quite clear: Yuuji's mom is very cool :) Not only dressing up Shana in cute clothes, now giving her advice on kissing and such. And she's an even match for Alastor(-san) as well ;) And Shana... saying that you'll never kiss Yuuji just makes it all the more inevitable that you will :P

After Yuuji's torch came back to full burn after almost going out, Shana and Alastor suspect that the hougu he's carrying is the 零時迷子 reiji maigo. It soon begins to rain, so Shana comes down from the roof and inside to Yuuji's room. Where she promptly begins to change... Yuuji's in the closet as Shana changes clothes.. and while she's doing so Alastor explains some things that are probably pretty important -- that he's one of the kings of Guze, that the Flame Hazes go about things in their own way, sometimes even fighting one another, so on. But I believe more people were watching intently instead of listening, right? ;) As you'd expect, Yuuji comes tumbling out of the closet, getting a nice view of things, and also getting nice beating from Shana, who heads up to the roof once again... Elsewhere, Marjorie checks in to a hotel. Seems she's having trouble locating the other Flame Haze around... and the ningyouzuki hentaiyarou (doll-loving perverted bastard) is once again planning some evil plans. He's doing it all for Marianne, of course, to bring her into existance in this world...

Yuuji, realizing that he's already dead, but not exactly understading what that means starts asking Shana questions about what all is going on. She explains some of those terms that were thrown around last time as he follows her around, trying to understand the situtation. As we already know, Yuuji is a トーチ torch, a person whose existance has been eaten by the 紅世の徒 guze no tomogara, those who live on another world close, but not so close to Earth called 紅世 guze. Once the flame of a torch burns out they disappear, leaving no trace behind that they ever existed. Yuuji sees the reality of that when the flame of a kid who's a torch burns out and the kid simply disappears, the other kids walking along not even noticing at all. Those monsters that Shana fought are called 燐子 rinne, something like the servants of the guze no tomogara. Yuuji continues to follow Shana around as she eats some melon bread -- 5 of them. They're her favorite food so she's rather happy when eating them ;) As night falls, Yuuji still questions Shana, still not completely understanding his situation and wanting to know who she is. Shana calls herself a フレイムヘイズ Flame Haze, one who fights the guze no tomogara.

Yuuji Sakai is just your normal guy going to his first day of high school on a very normal day... or so he thought...

He first meets up with his friend since middle school, Hayato Ike. During class, Yuuji drops his eraser and the girl next to him, Yukari Hirai, hands it back to him. She also points him to the right page in the book they were reading from since he wasn't exactly paying attention. On the way back from school Yuuji stops by a CD shop and runs into Yukari there. Seems Yukari has an interest in Hayato... as Yuuji sees Yukari off his day suddenly turns very much odd...
