Good afternoon, everybody. Not at work today since the University of Georgia is closed due to the 5-7 inches of snow we got around Athens yesterday. Snow’s not melting a whole lot, so schools might be closed tomorrow, too. Unlike y’all up north, we don’t know how to deal with this much snow. Didn’t help that the power was out from Sunday afternoon until this morning (^^;;

Idolmaster SP and Tales of Eternia

I got Tales of Eternia and Idolmaster SP Wandering Star from YesAsia in Friday, and since there wasn’t much to do with the power out yesterday, I played PSP. Mostly Eternia, though. Iori’s gonna be mad at me for not keeping a promise to produce yesterday (^^;; I actually hadn’t played Idolmaster (only watched videos and such), so I had to learn how to do the producer thing — harder than it looks (^^;; Iori’s only at rank E now, so there’s still a long way to go. I’ll do Ami/Mami after I make Iori top idol.

It’s been a month since I posted last. Miss me?…. orz. I’ve been tweeting rather than blogging since it requires less effort to write 120 characters (or less) than do a whole post. 100_3741Anyways, tax refund came in last week so I put it to use and finally got a PlayStation Portable — the Rachet & Clank bundle to be specific. Though I don’t really like Rachet & Clank, but whatever. Also picked up Star Ocean Second Evolution since I loved the original Star Ocean 2 (I own the soundtrack, too. Motoi Sakuraba fan). English voices are passable for the most part (though I would’ve liked an option to turn them off).

Speaking of Star Ocean, any of y’all planning to get Star Ocean 4 when it’s released in a few days? Too bad the NA release is English voices only… would’ve gotten it if it included the Japanese voices. Watching some playthroughs on Nico Nico Douga now — Miyuki Sawashiro as Lymle is great (don’t call her a Rozen Maiden).

Anyways, also ordered Idolmaster SP Wandering Star and Tales of Eternia (port of the PS1 game) from Yes Asia and should be getting them in a week or so. And if you thought that I got a PSP mostly for Idolmaster… you’re right (^^;;

100_3742And here are recent anime purchases — CLANNAD collection 1 and ARIA The NATURAL part 1. CLANNAD is very much a no-frills release compared to ARIA. Very good job with the extras, RightStuf. Interesting to note that CLANNAD is branded as a Sentai Filmworks release, not ADV Films.

And on the side, seeing Nagisa on the cover after recent eps of CLANNAD After Story… ・ﾟ・(つД｀)・ﾟ・

And that’s all the stuff I’ve gotten lately. I should cut down on the anime/game expenses a bit (^^;;

Already watched this week’s Shugo Chara! on Crunchyroll (impressions… Amu-chan kawaii yo Amu-chan…), so I guess I’ll get back to Star Ocean for a bit. Later, y’all.
